We are looking for full-time day Janitors to perform cleaning services for our government customer in Virginia Beach, VA, Naval Air Station Oceana. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, reliable, a team player and possess a great attitude.
Applicants must be US citizens and have an active government SECRET Clearance. Minimum of one-year janitorial experience.
Key Responsibilities: Perform cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash, cleaning the lobby area, hallways, bathrooms. Dusting, cleaning doors and glass, removing litter, refill all paper products, clean kitchen/break areas. Provide professional and friendly customer service to all residents and customers.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time; Ascending/Descending stairs and required to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds frequently; May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
